WHere is a home-style interpretation of a beverage from a new cocktail list. It's a batch premix that is loaded full of tastes of a Christmas time, rendering it ideal for a celebration. Any leftover cordial for brunch beverages, puddings, or to make another batch of this cocktail.

To make the Citrus Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
For the Premix (produces 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
Fresh cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Instructions
Making the Cordial: Place every items into a pot, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. Next, remove from the stove and leave to cool down completely. Transfer to a sealable bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, where it will keep for about one month.
Preparing the Batch Mix: Mix the specified spirits and syrup into a sizeable container, let it rest for an hour, then pass it through , ideally through muslin, making it perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Add 85ml from the cocktail base into your cocktail shaker packed with ice, and agitate lightly for one minute until cold. Filter into an cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, top with a few cranberries and finish with a quick spritz with the mandarin essence over the top.
